The Šachtičky ski centre is operated by the Šachtičky a.s. corporation ,Rudlovská cesta 53, Banská Bystrica. The ski centre can be found 10 kms from the centre of Banska Bystrica. It stretches on the north, north-east and southern slopes of the hill Panský diel with sea-level heights from 800 to 1100 ms. You can approach the centre through a road leading to the saddleback of Šachtička. There is a straight access to the ski tracks from here. Seven ski tracks are available with a total length of 10 kms, out of which 2,8 kms are covered with snow mechanically. The tracks are prepared daily and are of different severity. The total capacity of transportation is 2850 persons per hour and is ensured by 4 TATRAPOMA ski-lifts and a portable cable ski-lift for the beginners.
